Nashville & Co has put together a full list of the best places to check out whether you’re a Nashville local, visiting Nashville on business, or touring the city for pleasure with family and friends. Nashville is one of a kind and one of America’s fastest-growing cities. We’ve got you covered with all the must-see spots in our 2022 edition. Let’s dig in!
Downtown Broadway
The heartbeat of the city is found downtown in this ultra-modern adult playground. With live music and rooftop bars galore, Downtown Broadway is often compared to Las Vegas. We like to think “Nash Vegas” packs even more of a homegrown feel thanks to our local flair. Some of our favorite spots to check off:
- Tootsie’s: 422 Broadway
- Ole Red: 300 Broadway
- Jason Aldean’s Rooftop Bar: 307 Broadway
- The Twelve Thirty Club: 550 Broadway
- Layla’s Honky Tonk: 418 Broadway
- Hattie B’s Hot Chicken: Fifth + Broadway
Fifth + Broadway
Completed in 2022, this outdoor shopping area features everything from an Apple store to Justin Timberlake’s bar, The Twelve Thirty Club. Connected to Broadway, the development offers much-needed breathing room from the downtown honky-tonk scene, with a massive gallery-style food hall. This place has it all.
Printer’s Alley
Step back into the 1940s in this well-preserved, historic nightclub area of the city. With Skull’s Rainbow Room and other unique speakeasy bars, Printer’s Alley offers a cool vibe you shouldn’t pass up. There’s also some amazing street food. Some of our favorite spots:
- Skull’s Rainbow Room: 222 Printers Alley
- Alley Taps: 162 Printers Alley
- Snitch: 206 Printers Alley
House of Cards
Prepare to step into a fantasy land where the only limit is your imagination. This world-class restaurant and bar features the unique theme of magic. You’ll find true artifacts and authentic traditional pieces in this hidden venue; even Harry Houdini’s King Breaker cuffs are housed here behind glass. Make a reservation and dress up when you dine here. 119 3rd Ave S.
Nashville’s live events
From Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans, to Bridgestone Arena, home of the Nashville Predators, Nashville is famous for its live events. You can catch shows from Drake to Elton John across these massive venues, or kick back at the Listening Room Cafe to see a favorite local artist. Nashville is the “it” spot for destination shows.
- Bridgestone Arena: 501 Broadway
- Ryman Auditorium: 116 Rep. John Lewis Way N
Johnny Cash Museum
The Man in Black’s museum is decked out with authentic memorabilia. From Johnny’s guitars to Joaquin Phoenix’s outfit from Walk the Line, you won’t believe the Cash collection housed here. Icon Entertainment Group has put together an incredible gallery that’s a true dedication to Johnny Cash. 119 3rd Ave S.
John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge
The city’s most renowned overlook is just a stone’s throw from Broadway. Completely free to walk, it often gets missed by tourists and is a secret spot for locals. Take a scooter or walk a few blocks so you can gaze over the city’s signature skyline. If you make it to Nissan Stadium for an event, the bridge connects you across the river.
General Jackson Showboat
Nashville is famous for its live music, food scene, and sights. The General Jackson Showboat has all three. Offering day and night cruises, it features open outdoor bars and signature tribute music to the artists and flavors that make the city move. A true must-see. 2812 Opryland Dr.
Gaylord Opryland Resort
A Tennessee gem with its own water park. Gaylord Opryland features a full-scale indoor river and waterfall enclosed in a massive atrium, with restaurants and a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. The indoor-outdoor balcony views give it a feel you have to see to believe. 2800 Opryland Dr.

Home of the Parthenon, Centennial Park has amazing gardens, walkways, and historic venues. There’s a mile-long walking trail, and you can tour the interior of the massive structure to see the 42-foot Athena statue. 2500 West End Ave.
